It was beyond helpful to have Claire as our doula during the birth of our second child. Her prenatal appointments with us prepped my husband and me emotionally and physically. She was so attentive to our feelings and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted for my birth! Once I was in labor she was super responsive and let us know she would come whenever we were ready for her support. She arrived at the hospital with us and immediately started working through my contractions with me. Her calm spirit and attentiveness was super important to have during my labor. She also helped advocate for me when I wanted a water birth. Claire is an exceptional doula and so caring! Once I knew I wanted to try for a VBAC with my 2nd child, I knew I wanted an advocate by my side. After my very first meeting with Claire, where she was genuinely so interested in my journey and what I was searching for with this 2nd birth, I knew baby and I were in good hands. Claire's personality was made for this job. She is knowledgeable, caring, calm yet strong, and such a genuinely good person. From the prenatal appointments to coach my husband and I through what to expect with labor (something I didn't get to do with my 1st) to making sure he and I were aligned in our expectations, a strong foundation was set. When the time of labor came, Claire was available and checking in consistently. She met us at the hospital in the evening and labored with me through the night. Going through my VBAC, any time there was a moment of uncertainty, she was the perfect steady force- letting me know my options, giving facts, reminding me of my goals, while still giving me the chance to have the final say. I felt so safe with her by my side, and don't doubt for a second that God put Claire into my life to help being our son into this world. — Haley S.

Claire was recommended to me by my previous doula. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for her recommendation. Claire supported me through my second vbac! I truly couldn’t have done it without her support, words of encouragement, etc. I will never forget her praying over me, baby and my husband at the start of our induction process. FaceTiming me when I was discouraged and running to my bedside to be there for their birth of our sweet girl! From our first time meeting she felt like family. Claire was my doula for my second pregnancy. I came into this pregnancy carrying a lot of worry and fear about the labor and birth process that was carried over from my first pregnancy. Claire was EXACTLY who I needed in my corner. We talked about REDEMPTION the entire journey together. Claire helped make that a reality. She was always available as a sounding board for me. She checked on me often. Her kindness really came through in her care for me. She made time to meet with me, both virtually and in-person. The tools she gave me helped me feel more comfortable and confident, even though I still was fighting anxiety at times. I have no doubt that in the delivery room, Claire’s presence helped bring my baby boy in the best way possible. With Claire’s help, redemption happened. It wasn’t perfect, but I felt my heart heal.
